PRESIDENT

Forensic Examiner, Junior

Alisha Mauro is from Latrobe, Pennsylvania and is a junior pursuing degrees in forensic examination and psychology in the honors college. She has been a member of the club since the first semester of her freshman year, and being a member of the FIS club has helped her make connections to the world of forensic science in ways she didn’t even know existed prior to the club. In the future, she would like to obtain her bachelor's degree and get into the FBI with dreams of becoming a part of the evidence response team or a crime scene investigator. Her end goal is to obtain her master's degree and work at a forensic psychology firm. Along with forensics, she is a member of the psychology club, historian of CHIMES junior honorary, Delta-Delta Epsilon, Project 168, SecureWVU, and the student society for the advancement of biometrics. Outside of school, she works as a campus tour guide for high school students interested in WVU, and loves to be outdoors to hike, hammock, swim, etc. She is ecstatic to be the president this year and hope to bring lots of fun activities for everyone to enjoy!
